Selistin Estate Sale ("we", "us") runs estate sales, an online shop and online auctions in Savannah, Georgia. This page explains what personal information this website collects, why, who it is shared with, and the choices you have.

What we collect

Account details when you register to buy or bid: name, email address, phone number and, if you ask for shipping, your delivery address.
Orders, bids and invoices: what you bought or bid on, amounts, and payment status.
Messages you send through our contact and consultation forms, including any property address you give us.
Mailing lists: your name and email if you join our newsletter or VIP list.
Site usage: which pages and items are viewed, when, the type of device and the website you came from. See "Cookies" below.

We never see or store your card details. Card payments are entered on our payment processor's secure page (currently Stripe).

How we use it

To run your account, process orders and auction invoices, and arrange pickup or shipping.
To send transactional emails: order confirmations, receipts, outbid notices, auction results and pickup details. These are part of the service and are sent whether or not you are on a mailing list.
To send newsletters and VIP sale alerts if you joined those lists. Every mailing has an unsubscribe link.
To answer your enquiries.
To understand which items and pages interest visitors, so we can improve the site and our sales.
To prevent fraud and abuse, and to meet legal and tax obligations.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the business, and only as much as they need:

Payment processing (Stripe) to take card payments.
Email delivery (Brevo) to send our emails.
Website analytics (Google Analytics), if enabled, to measure site traffic.
Our hosting provider, which stores the website and its database.

We may also disclose information when required by law.

Cookies

Sign-in and security cookies keep you signed in and protect forms from misuse. The site does not work properly without them.
Visitor statistics cookie ("sv"): a random identifier that lets us count visits and item views. It contains no personal details. If you are signed in, your visits are linked to your account so we can see how often members return.
Google Analytics cookies, if enabled.

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we do not set the visitor statistics cookie or record your visits. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

How long we keep it

Order and invoice records: as long as required for tax and accounting purposes.
Visit and item-view statistics: up to 25 months, then deleted automatically.
Account details: while your account is open. Ask us and we will close it.
Mailing list entries: until you unsubscribe.

Your choices

Update your details any time under Your details.
Unsubscribe from mailings with the link in any email, or on our unsubscribe page.
Ask us for a copy of your information, to correct it, or to delete it, by contacting us. We will respond within 30 days.

Security

The site is served only over an encrypted connection, passwords are stored in hashed form, and access to customer records is limited to our staff.

Children

This website is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. You must be 18 or older to buy or bid.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
